Implement GitHub API calls and have the app check for an update every time it is run. I'd imagine the dialog would be very similar to the PowerToys Toast for updates.

Picking a Toast library has shown to be inconvient.

Because device.ini is located in Program Files, the program does not have sufficient access to read/write data to it. Should be moved to a different spot, i.e. %APPDATA%

Line 147 is erroring for me,

As an attribute error, haven't touched the code other than pasting it in.

Is there a way to get the program to register itself on the Apps > Startup list in Windows?

If yes, can we have the application toggle that as well?

If not, how can we toggle the startup status via the application...

I'd imagine this would be something similar to Rainmeter's log.

It would be a visual window. This unfortunately requires a GUI library and would significantly increase the size of the program. It would, however, be helpful for being able to see the program names. Currently slightly difficult to see.

I honestly should've put this in before even releasing v1.

Would the Tee implementation be better, or should I use the logger module. Signs point to the latter.

Similar to espanso, show a Windows Toast when PyCurrentWindow first starts running.
