Intended cursor behavior with image updates(changing from pointer to hand and etc.)
Cursor becomes last changed cursor(if exited via done button for example cursor stays click hand image) and no click animation plays

Also there is less consistent behavior that is visible once custom menu layout is closed and opened mc's default menu layout ther is a bunch of click animations played at once where cursor clicked on custom menu
The click animation plays normally in the main menu and options menu, but is choppy and sped up while the player is loaded into a world. The effect is subtle but noticeable.

I am using custom textures for the cursor and click animation that I made myself, but this should not affect anything.

when i launch mc the cursor size is very very small and i have no idea how to change it

Upon lauching the game, the cursor will say at default Windows, until the player join a world/server, open the settings through /cursormod

Red and blue channels of texture are swapped around after an import.
There is no problem with the preset texture because it is completely grey. Although I was able to adjust the channels of the image directly, it was cumbersome and I had to swap channels after each coloring.

Basically, if you edit your cursor file location to a location that only exists in a custom resource pack you've created (for example, ../gui/pointer-96.png), and then that resource pack gets disabled for any reason, the game will crash on load.
This is a major problem because resource packs can get disabled due to renaming them or updating various mods, and the user isn't really aware they've been disabled. Then, their game won't start up, and most folks don't know how to read the latest.log:

I think your mod is trying to read an image that doesn't exist. You probably need a "try" block of code, or an if statement to avoid attempting to read the .png file that doesn't exist while the resource pack is disabled.
So, about that resource pack I created. Maybe someone else wants to use it too?

It looks like using CustomCursorMod1.2-1.7.10.jar and changing the focus from the Minecraft window and then back makes the cursors disappear in the menu screens. Without restarting they don't return, however you can still move the mouse and the location where the cursor 'is' still functions properly. Any ideas? Optifine causing an issue? Doesn't appear to be anything relevant to it in the logs when it occurs. Thanks!

Seems to occur sometimes when using various GUIs. Cannot replicate consistently.
When you have the click animation on and click on the main menu, the background from CustomMainMenu goes black.
Can you update to 1.20.1 Forge?
