@StephenOTT thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure I follow you. The examples folder in the repo just shows a simple example of running the coffee script code in the browser, I'd like to serve my stuff as precompiled JS ahead of time. Am I misunderstanding your reply?

Have a look at CoffeeScript.org there is an browser compiler and also instructions on installing a local ccompiler.

As stated in the README, this package is no longer maintained and is deprecated. We recommend that people use the etch package instead. Because of this, we are archiving this repository and closing all issues and pull requests. Thanks very much for your support and contributions!
