Once the recording stops, the audio is no longer playing.

Every time I try to clear my "Identified earlier" history, this shows up. However, I don't get any notification and there isn't any other button that shows up. I can't clear my history now.

Works fine on YouTube but any stream on Twitch that I use it on causes the stream audio to have two sources playing.

I wasn't able to make Firefox add the extension permanently, from an archive. I don't know why. It says that it's corrupted. Only adding as a temporary extension works.

I'm trying to identify music from online radio stations, for example...

And every time I try to identify it blocks the music, and it joust waits forever.

From youtube it works flawlessly but not from online radios.

The extension should explicitly state which field is the artist, album or song name.

For example the following is ambiguous, I've no idea which is which, and the two words do not lend themselves to searching for more information well. Clicking on the link in the extension yields zero additional information.

One issue of course is that the recorded media has same volume-level as the playback. E.g. if it is low or muted, recording is also low or muted. Not sure, but ideally would be to get the buffered audio and extract a sample from that (I.e. no recording) but not sure how to achieve that.
Another alternative could perhaps be to use AudioWorklet

E.g., if you open the extension on YouTube and then go to a different YoTube video, you won't have any sound

When using the extension on some websites other than YouTube, like for example Dailymotion, the extension doesn't listen to audio at all and says "start error: can't find any unpaused media elements." at the bottom of the interface.

A user reports that the notification asking to confirm emptying the music recognition history isn’t shown.
