At the moment only one Book of Knowledge (Aqua Affinity) shows up in JEI (though they all show up in the Creative tab). As most modpacks include JEI as the primary way of seeing what items exist, and for ops to spawn in items, it would be helpful if all of the Books of Knowledge would appear in JEI.

When testing this mod I found that the Books of Knowledge only function when placed in the vanilla Chiseled Bookshelves. If you place them in various modded Chiseled Bookshelves, such as those from the Woodster and Extra Compat mods, they don't appear to be detected and their enchantments won't show up in the enchanting table.

How do you access higher levels of sharpness, power, unbreaking or protection for example? There doesn't seem to exist books of knowledge for those unless they just dont show up in the creative menu for some reason.

From what I could find, all the other enchantments are leveled by just stacking a lot of books of the same type in the bookshelves near the table
From my testing:
Level 2 = 3 Books
Level 3 = 9 Books
Level 4 = 18 Books
Level 5 = 30 Books

Happening in 1.20.1 with Kintsugi 0.1.0 and Majrusz's Accessories 1.2.3 and its library.

When playing on a server it would be useful if you could share the enchantments you've found with others, so each player doesn't need to hunt down every book themselves or be forced to use someone else's enchantment table setup. Allowing Enchanted Books to grant access to the enchantments would be a simple way of doing this, and would make thematic sense as well.

It would take more work, I'm sure, but you could even limit the level of the enchants granted by Enchanted Books to the highest level of that particular enchant that you have in the bookshelf.

Only finding smite books, so far i have found 7 smite books and nothing else? is this a bug or is it intended am i doing somthing wrong?

i think the removal of combining alike books to upgrade them also broke the ancient tome, which is a book that when applied will increase your enchantment level by one based on which enchantment it is, and is able to upgrade to a maximum of 1 beyond vanilla limit

If incompatible with other mods that offer the same, or to potentially enable players to still have some randomization from their available selection

I'm so happy this mod exists! It's really well thought out, integrates with vanilla Minecraft seamlessly, and addresses some long-standing issues that I've had with the vanilla enchanting system. That said, I have some suggestions that could potentially make it even better.

• Enchantment Descriptions support for the books of knowledge and even the enchantment table itself when you hover over an enchantment.
• Ability to search for enchantments within the UI.
• Ability to upgrade enchantments on already enchanted items in the enchantment table.

I would also like to echo support of a previous feature request to add an option to use regular enchanted books in place of the books of knowledge. I think this could ease the burden of adding individual mod support for loot tables when using this mod in conjunction with others that add enchantments and structures.
