Foursquare datasets http://www.public.asu.edu/~hgao16/dataset.html are zip archives protected by passwords so you would need to contact the authors and fulfil additional requirements (e.g. email on .edu domain). From the page there: "Due to the privacy issues, the data availability depends on the requester's research background. Please contact [email protected] for more details."

Unfortunately not all the people can be eligible to get the access to datasets like this, so may be it worth to add an additional note or something.

Hi everyone,

My proposal is to separate/classify the list of Government datasets by country since there are specific datasets such as countries' cities datasets. Then, the list would be very long and include a mix of countries and cities datasets which can be confusing or hard to understand/read.

For example, we could separate them doing something like:

* cityArg2

## Belgium
* datasetBelgium

* cityBelgium2

I reckon that it is very disgraceful and inappropriate to put the leaked dataset of Chinese hotels' check in/out records in this public repository.

The dataset may be valuable in science and research but it contains millions of people's true name and their real personal id. To put such information publicly is a huge violation to their privacy.

So please remove the dataset in the awesome list, thank you.

Currently Travis CI errors on every build because the config file is commented out and there's not Rakefile for the default build strategy. Either the URL checker should be reenabled or Travis CI should be disabled entirely so that it's not attempting futile builds.
