Some resources transfer to another day, some don’t (like we keep the same amount of food but f.ex. health regens after sleeping or so)
Hiding some info can help...
The player can choose between a few zones where to go out for scraps.
Implement high-risk high reward, low-risk low reward mechanic. Soldier might lose health or even die.
One soldier gets sick and dies.
This will lower the morale of all the soldiers.
Gives the player the opportunity to raise morale again.
The first level should focus more on character evolution, so that the professor can try out the mechanics, etc.

Morale (if it gets to 0 everything goes to shit)
Abilities (cook, soldier, sergeant, gunsmith, doctor …)
Can be done for example by the radio
They add up over time but missing one is not critical, missing many will cause the player to probably lose the game...
Lowers the temperature of the house.
If the temperature drops below a certain point, soldiers will start losing health and/or morale.
Size of the house: basement, ground floor, top floor, attic.
The general trains people but can't be trained/specialized
Should use resources...
If no one defends then the soldier will break into the house.
Who you choose to defend decides the probability of survival.
Having defenses highers the probability.
If the person that defends dies/gets injured the soldiers enter your house.
hopefully an initial level and an end game level...
Should decrease over time depending on how many soldiers you have.
if a character crafts +2 ammo then a +2 with an ammo symbol should show above it. Same for every other stat... food, health, scraps, etc...
The fonts are changing in the project, first there's different font, then after first dialog it changes and later it's getting smaller. Need to be fixed
the abilities of the characters improve, their sprites change, etc.
Maybe a color code of sorts can be used... white is too cold, blue is slightly cold, green is ok, orange, red... you get the idea
crafting turrets, machine guns, other defenses for the house...
Probably having predefined positions on the house where the defenses can be add, might make this mechanic easier. That would allow us to give the player the choice of where to put them without much complexity.
