I suggest including a link to a service like http://www.latlong.net/ to make it easier for users to find this information. Integration with an API that does this lookup would be even better.

In addition to (or instead of) the default Stellar Photos collection on Unsplash, users can add multiple collections from which random photos can be loaded from.

Is there any way to not make a new collection and add anything 1 by 1? i want to add https://unsplash.com/t/nature, but there is no ID for that

Users can save photos to OneDrive

Several days ago photos stopped rotating. When trying to change sets that are in use, or switch to defult photo set I get an excetion "TypeError: NetworkError when attempting to fetch resource." as a red popup within settings for plugin.

The rest of browser works, stellar photos is the only part of browser that stopped working.

How can I debug further?

Would be cool to have an option which would let use use the same image the whole day.

Maybe you could also add a "quote of the day" a la Momentum Dash?

Maybe just personal taste, but I use that extension to lighten my workload with the nice pictures. And the criyng man, as well made as that photo is is depressing. Not sure if it is fitting for the collection. https://imgur.com/a/7ytFg

Seperate options into different sections.

Need to load a higher resolution of the image as the background image as the current versions aren't sharp enough

My internet is not very fast. So when I open a new tab the background is completely black for a while before the pic loads. Mostly I know where I want to go when I open a new tab, so I just see the black before I go to my next destination.

It would be nice if when I open a new tab it would download the next picture to show me, that is the one that will be used the next time I open a new tab. That way the picture could load instantly when I open a new tab, and not wait to download. Just download the next pic in the background :)

the collection that is currently set is 998309
if i try to change to 935527 (this is Yosemite collection) it pops up a red box saying "Failed to save collections. Please check that the collection exist"
this happens with other collections as well

Stellar Photos does not aggregate any user information.

But the new 2.0 update includes the GA script and is collecting usage data.

Please remove that feature or make it clear in the privacy policy what's being tracked.

Only thing is that I find the buttons in the corner and bar at the bottom distracting from the overall very nice and clean look. I'd love it if these where hidden by default and faded in when moving the mouse closer to them, like in Art up your tab. :)

Whenever I open a new tab it starts to freeze after a couple of seconds until a warning pops up.

Currently, only Image resolution, date created and number of likes are shown.

Some other data that can be displayed are:

• Camera Model and Make
• Exposure
• ISO
• Focal Length
• Aperture
• Downloads
• Shutter Speed
• Number of Views

I have been getting the same image for the last couple of days. It looks like the Unsplash API fails to return a random image from my collection:

Issue

It is not always clear which collection picture is coming from, and why the given image is displayed at all.

User need

User need a short explanation on why given image is displayed, and typical reason would be - since it is a part of collection "12345".

Proposed solution

• We need an info on which collection image is coming from
• Information can be placed in "Photo info" page.
• That would be nice with a link to collection as well.

Currently, only coordinates are being synced. Need to sync all preferences and collections as well.

Will involve transitioning from localStorage to Storage.sync and Storage.local

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of stellar photos with Firefox 80.0b8 (64-bit) on macOS 10.15.4, and I'm seeing this behavior now, which wasn't there before:

1. I open a new tab
2. I quickly start typing (Address bar is automatically focused when opening a new tab)
3. When stellar photos loads, the text I had already written into the address bar is deleted

I can trigger this behavior almost every time, but sometimes the extension loads really fast and it's not visible. I have a 2017 MBP 15, so performance should not be an issue.
