When I try to script data from temporal tables, I have to edit generated stored procedure to remove the system versioned columns (ValidFrom, ValidTo) from Inserts or else the Inserts would error out.

It would be great if the tool takes care of it automatically.

Today I got application exception and by debugging I noticed the column info contains wrong Ids.

And the root cause is missing the table_schema criteria while reading column info. Here's the commit to fix:

When I connect to the database, the tables are read and details are displayed. I have a table, "EmployeeType," that I'm certain has 6 records, but the application shows as 12. It does the same with other tables as well. I closed the application and tried again. Same result.

It would be great if you could add a where clause for each table
Otherwise nice utility.

To compile with the latest version of DevExpress like version 20. What do you suggest

Add "Select ALL/ Un-Select All" for the tables shown at search result which we need to generate scripts for them.

It would be great if the tool can save previous successful connections. Similar to SSMS. If it is too hard, at least ability to save connections in config for easy connectivity instead of typing in every time.

I am getting an error, when I try to generate data from tables with Time(7) data type columns.

Hope you are well and thank you for making the Data Script Writer publicly available. I downloaded the 2.1.0 zip release file and tried to export out the Product table in sample AdventureWorks database which is available when Azure SQL Server is deployed from the Azure portal. I came across an exception titled "Unhandled exception: Unknown SQL Data type! (varbinary)" with details below. I have attached the snapshot of the error and also the DDL of the Product table.

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Is it possible to remove the usage of DevExpress in the project ?
I don't have a DevExpress licence so it does not compile on my computer.

Otherwise, is it possible to compile it without installing DevExpress or can you add the DLL in the project ?
