windows-95's Issues

Add to Flatpak

I would be eternally grateful if this (and hopefully your other themes) could be packed for Flatpak/Flathub, so they can be used with Flatpak-installed packages.

It's actually fairly trivial and straightforward to do this. I'd do it myself, but (a) I don't have spare time at the moment, and (b) Flathub prefers if an official member of a project submits the packaging.

I find this theme very calming, and it would be great if all my Flatpak programs worked with it.

Thank you!

The text color in the panel is white - the return

Hello,

I'm having exactly the same problem as this person : #2 (same as on his screenshot)

I'm using Cinammon 5.2.7, on Linux Mint 20.3.

I tried with both the "Stable release" from June 21, 2019, as well as with the current master, and I'm having the problem in both.

Is there any regression, maybe ?

Thank you so much in advance!

Icons not showing up

Folder/file icons and sidebar icons are not appearing

On linux mint 19 cinnamon

The text color in the panel is white

In Linux Mint 18 this was perfect, but after upgrading to 19, for some reason this text color in the panel changed to white. On top of a light grey background, it does not look great. Where do I change the text color to black?

Theme does not suit well

My Taskbar looks like this....
http://tinypic.com/r/2q19pw1/9

And I still need to use the old version called Windows 9x through

gsettings set org.cinnamon.desktop.wm.preferences theme "Windows 9x"

otherwise with the 3.8 cinnamon implementation called Windows 95, the theme appears in the Settings list but when I select it, it does not load or display on the system. The old theme works fine (except taskbar) however must be loaded through command line. Am I doing something wrong?

Running Linux Mint 19, Cinnamon 3.8.8
Thank you.

Submenus not visible in MenuBar, ComboBox etc.

Hi all,

thanks for these great themes! I may have found a bug in this one:
When using Evolution, the submenus in for example
"File" -> "New" ->
are not visible. Same problem occurs when I try to create a new appoinment. If choosing a recurrence, the sub menu in the ComboBox is not visible, so it is not possible to choose a particular date for recurrence.
Those parts are working when I use the Windows-3.11 theme.

Do I need to install some additional dependencies? Or is this a bug?

Greetings,
Lewin
