In newer versions of minecraft, some chunks may not be fully generated using mcexplore. For example in 1.16 the biomes of chunks at the border of the map will not be generated. This results in some missing lines in the biome map generated by using slime_seed_finder test-generation --draw-biome-map on a world generated by mcexplore:

Another consequence is that some dungeons are cut in half at the chunk border, although it is not clear to me why would this happen:

The solution to this issue is either try to increase the number of chunks generated by modifying some option in server.properties, or to reduce the number of blocks that the spawn moves on every server restart:
