A short command line tool to create two software stacks, one frontend, and one backend, that are preconfigured with tools for:

• Containerization
• Development within containers (VSCode integration)
• Production Deployment
• Support various frontend and backends, and tool for configuring which

Containerization

• create application folders for the frontend and backend stacks
• docker-compose.yml files for production and staging, preconfigured for the stack
• .env.production and .env.development variable files, preconfigured for the stack

Development within containers

• Be opinionated on setting a style for development and debugging during development
  • especially with respect to vscode (e.g. launch.json and tasks.json entries to help run debugging tasks
• set up any required virtual environments for vscode/debuggers to run within

Production Deployment

• TBD based on current research
• integration of popular tools to handle building production images
  • or built in automation of building production images and sending them to image repositories
