What is this software licensed under? Is it free software?

number 1:

since theres a way to kill the daemon from the diana script.
$ ./diana kill

add an option to start the daemon also?

like
$ ./diana load
or to assign a download path also
$ ./diana load ~/Downloads

number 2:

instead of using GID, maybe just auto assign each to an ID number like

so i dont have to use mouse to copy =D

then people can use for example
$ ./diana pause 2

I notice that if the daemon dies it doesn't reload what u have paused in your last session. Actually it doesn't remember anything. Have a way to restore it, in the event you have to kill your daemon.

maybe change ~/tmp to a input variable so people can assign the directory they want to store the files to?
either within the file itself
like

DownloadDir="~/Downloads"

or in terminal prompt

$ ./dad ~/Downloads

My server has aria2 1.18.1 which doesn't support RPC-SECRET.
Would it be possible to support RPC-USER and RPC-PASSWD alternatively as well? (I tried hacking it in, but wasn't successful...)

Not sure if I'm making a mistake or if this tool is broken, but :

$ DIANA_HOST=somewhere.domain.tld DIANA_SECRET_TOKEN=my_secret_token diana list
The server replied: -2.

I've had to edit the file to change http:// in https:// to get that far, so I'm wondering if maybe this is just not up to date.

num1:

make actions shorter

-l for list
-p pause
-i info

..etc

num2:

add a queue option:
$ diana queue linktofile
or
$ diana -q linktofile

basically when u add an item it goes to your paused state until you want to start the download later on

num3:

show all filenames from diana files
listallfiles option ( display: list, paused, stopped )
$ diana -laf

show all downloads
listall option ( display: list, paused, stopped, errors)
$ diana -la

but i think you can make it prettier with unified colors for each part =D

Would you mind adding --dir and --user-agent to diana? I don't want to fork it just because of these. :-)

It would be very nice if diana could talk to aria2c secured with a username / password or the new secret authentication.

I also use webui-aria and I can't get both that and diana to work with any kind of authentication.

is there a way to add http password with downloaded files?
