PySBOL is a Python wrapper around libSBOLc, a module for reading, writing, and constructing genetic designs according to the standardized specifications of the Synthetic Biology Open Language (SBOL).

I cannot install pySBOL on Linux. Is there anyway that I can use pySBOL on Linux-like platform ?
Is there anyway to access sbol data from the current crop of respositories. it would be nice to retrieve a n sbol file from ICE directly from Python.

With "import sbol" my python 2.6.6 in linux debian says:
ImportError: No module named _libsbol
If you can tell me why, that would be perfect.

There should be a message at the top of the readme that points to pySBOL2 to make it clear that people should be using that one and this one is no longer supported.
