macos_burst's Issues

Restarting the wallet

Hi remember me? :)

I have another dumb question... I did get the wallet to run the last time, and it downloaded the entire blockchain etc..

But I eventually had to turn off my computer.

Now I when I turned it back on, how do I

  1. restart the same wallet? Is there a terminal command to just start that same wallet? and
  2. do it without downloading the entire Burst blockchain again and
  3. Isnt there an icon or something for the burst wallet to run as a stand alone application on my imac or do I have to go to the Index page each time to have it run

Thank you!

Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'

I'm seeing the following error.
OSX Sierra 10.12.6

Open up a terminal window in the macos_burst directory.

Hi

First thanks for doing this - I have been trying to install a wallet on iMac but so far have been unsuccessful. I feel like as soon as someone creates software which is just a "one click and it runs automatically" solution Burst will get more widely adopted, etc.. I keep hitting walls and am wondering if you might be willing to help. (I also noticed you are from New England on your site? Curious where? :) I'm from Maine and lived in Amesbury/Newburyport Mass for a while.. )

Here is where I am currently having a problem

On your line 3 Open up a terminal window in the macos_burst directory.

I can not for the life of me figure out how to do this. I started with your your instructions on how do do it myself, got homebrew installed, then MariaDB tripped me up

Restart resulted in new wallet

Hi again :)

How are you doing

I am having a small problem. I restarted my wallet using the commands you gave me

cd /Users/davidbull/Desktop/macos_burst-master/burstcoin/burstcoin-1.3.6cg/
sh burst.sh

The weird thing is, it DOES restart the wallet - but it has a DIFFERENT Burst address (and had an initial balance of 1 now 0 when I changed the account name). The FIRST wallet it created had a different Burst address, which had a balance of 36 BURST...

The other weird thing is, it that it is accepting my initial burst passphrase on the NEW wallet

This is the FIRST Wallet I successfully created with you - https://explore.burst.cryptoguru.org/account/8914851215982094029

This is the SECOND Wallet which resulted from doing the restart.
https://explore.burst.cryptoguru.org/account/17032715736166481629

I am using the same exact passphrase I used to set up the first wallet and it is working to log into the second wallet

Is there any way I can log into the first wallet created or switch the wallet on my local host?

Thanks in advance!
