My philosophy toward engineering is driven whole-heartedly by one simple belief: On a software development team, we’re all learners and we’re all in this together πŸ‘ͺ. For me, this means understanding more about what makes engineers engaged, psychologically safe, and fulfilled πŸ’š. As an engineering leader, this means I do my best to get to know each and every member of my department, understand their motivations, and work tirelessly toward earning their trust and advancing their careers.

Most importantly, I am totally committed toward advancing πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ‘ŒπŸΏ diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging ❀️ 🧑 πŸ’› πŸ’š πŸ’™ πŸ’œ in technology and beyond. I believe in the importance of actively participating in and advocating for these issues whenever I am able. We are at our best as technologists when we correct inequities in our workforce and push for safe, inclusive environments for everyone.

Have enemy pursue player when spotted

When an enemy spots a player, adjust its patrol path to follow the player. Once the player is out of sight long enough, adjust them back to the default patrolling behavior.

What kind of game do we want to make?

I am curious what everyone's ideas are as far as something to make. Obviously we can start very small, or pick something decently sized to work at. What kind of game do we want to make?

Change light colors based on enemy state

Enemies should have a light yellow light by default

When an enemy spots the player, change their light to a red color.

If the player is away from them long enough, turn it back to light yellow.
