Snake Game

This is a recreation of the retro-style Nokia 3310 Snake game implemented in JavaScript, using HTML5 Canvas for rendering.

This is the online demo deployed on Netlify: https://retrosnakenokia.netlify.app

Getting Started

To run the Snake game, follow these steps:

  1. Open the index.html file in a web browser.
  2. Click on the "Start Game" button to begin playing.

Game Controls

  • Arrow Keys: Control the direction of the snake (up, down, left, right).
  • Touch Gestures: Swipe on the screen to control the snake's direction.

Game Rules

  • The snake starts with a length of 4 cells.
  • Move the snake to consume apples, increasing its length and score.
  • Avoid collisions with the snake's own body to prevent game over.
  • The game ends when the snake collides with the screen edges.
