If possible, tags and branches should appear to the side of the commits they point to, rather than above (where they bump the history to the right).

Reorganize the files, create a gemspec, and package as a gem.

If your repository is reasonably large, it is easy to create a PDF that is unwieldy. There should be a simple way to limit history by date or number of commits, and perhaps apply a limit by default.

Perhaps the abridged section should be represented by an "earlier commits" or "ancient history" graph node.
