udacity_reactnd_1stproject's Introduction

Udacity React Nanodegree | MyReads - Book app

About The Project

This is the first project in Udacity's React Nanodegree, we are given a static HTML UI for a book app that can store a book in one of three different shelves, through API calls from the Udacity book API.

Project plan

  1. Breakdown the UI into a hierarchy of components (we have two pages, a book shelves page and a book search page)

    Component breakdown
  2. Build a static UI using React components without interactivity

  3. Decide what data is needed by which components and where each state should live

  4. Start adding interactivity and using the Udacity book API

To run the app

On the project's main folder, cmd run

  • npm install
  • npm start
