The closed-loop drive is to feedback the rotation angle of the stepping motor to the control panel, compare the distance that needs to be rotated with the distance of the actual rotation, calculate the error value, and then compensate, so as to prevent the problem of multi-step and lost step. The closed-loop drive can completely overcome the lost step of the open-loop stepping motor, and can also significantly improve the performance of the motor at high speed

Microcontroller randonmly reseting when touching a pcb by hand

Hello,

I found that the mcu on the board often randomly resets if I touch the pcb, especially at the programming pins.

After some measurement I found that the reset pin of the mcu doesn't have pull-up => floating.

Today evening I will solder a 10K resistor between VCC and ResetPin on the programming connector.

I will come back with the result.

Reading encoder data

Hello, i'm working on my research and this board is exactly what i need, but i have a specific need, read the data used in PID controller on another board. I don't need write data, only read to control a second code, running in another microcontroller, using the output error, this is possible? how?

Data display abnormal, and hard to comunicate serial port

Dear,
I bought two of these motors for x and y axises, when I turn off my printer I move x and y axises, after that one of my mortor display can't turn on and serial port broken. I try to remove closed loop driver and check magnet, magnet still in thé center. I try to upload code again but i need press reset button many times for computer recognizes boad, and green light on board on and fade slowly. I think something broken, someone help me identify which broken for me to replace component on this board, thank you so much.

Waiting Motor Power

I buy 3 of this motors from BTT, installed on X and Y axis. after calibrated it working, then next time power on printer, LCD only show message Waiting Motor Power and it try some movement but still stay at position, try remove from printer (no load), Message gone. I don't know how to do with them now, very expensive but do nothing. Firmware re flashing not help.

No movement SKR 1.3 or 1.4 Marlin 2.0.5.1

I have these installed on the X and Y axis of my printers and setup via LCD. They do not move no matter what I try. They do however power on and hold the motor.

I have the driver off in Marlin, or set to A4998. I have also tried removing all jumpers under the driver or setting them for 16 microsteps as for a A4998.

Not sure what else to do I have not found any documentation on how to setup the main board side nor has BTT replied via email.

Thanks for your help.
