The Application shall provide an area on the desktop where "things" e.g. files can be dropped.
On the same area "tools" can be dropped that will provide services on the things.

The Application is inspired by the Tools and Materials approach see:

Things correspond to Material here.

as a workaround for not being able to drag and drop tabs of e.g. firefox allow
past of URLs via keyboard short cut CTRL-V / CMD-V

Example: 3 pdf files are dropped at position 10,10
The pdf files should be arranged e.g. adding and x offset of the icons's size until hitting the right border then continuing on the "next line" that is with x=0 and y increased by the icon's size

As an example a tool for PDF Extraction shall be used.
The tool will extract text from the PDF files on the dragtop and supply:
a) a text file
b) a json file with text blocks and their positions

There should be a File menu with the options:

• New - clear the dragtop
• Open - open the dragtop state from the given GraphMl xml file
• Save - save the dragtop state to the default dragtop.xml file in the $HOME/.dragtop default folder
• SaveAs - save the dragtop state to the given GraphMl xml file
• Quit - will automatically save and then quit

Opening the app will automatically load the default (latest) dragtop state
