Turns out this is not only a problem within lists: The DQL

let tableRows = [];
const pagesWithContent = [{page: "1", content: "Hello\nWorld"}, {page: "2", content: "World<br>* List entry<br>  * sublist entry<br>  * another sublist entry<br>* Another list entry"}]
for (const { page, content } of pagesWithContent) {
    tableRows.push([page, content]);
};

dv.table(["Page", "Paragraphs"], tableRows);

gives as first line:

When replacing \n by <br>, the problem is gone. However, I am grabbing contents dynamically from other notes (via dv.io.load(page.file.path)), and there list items are separated by \n*. If Obsidian uses \n* for separating list items, it would really make sense to support that within tables, too.

Is this a problem of Dataview, dataviewjs, or the Obsidian markdown renderer?
