Hi!
When I try to cast any stream, it says that it "cannot get stream title". I have the latest version of Ace Link. Could you tell me what I should do, please?
Thank you very much in advance.
Hi blaise-io
My feature request is to have the ability to open two streams at the same time to simulate some kind of PIP or similar (moving manually the player windows, of course)
Is there a way to implement a dual "Open Stream from Clipboard" option, and just duplicate the AceStream container.
Use the same player should be ok if it's supporting two instances.
Yeah... the application is amazing as it is. Really congratulations for your job !
It's just a dreamy feature.
If there is a workaround to have same feature, could you please let me know your idea?
Never mind. Everything's normal now.

Hi Blaise.
Is it possible to add a Big Sur icon for AceLink or at least give us an .icns file to change it manually?
Thank you!
Describe the bug
I watched an Acestream from my Windows PC and thought that I'd like to have this option on my MacBook Air as well. So I downloaded your app, installed Docker, copied the link and ran it using "Open stream from clipboard". After a minute or around it the app said "Stream does not have peers". The stream was definitely alive, I was watching it while trying to set up acelink on my mac.

Hi, i want to know wheter its possible to develop the docker container in arm64 architecture, it would be great for the users of arm devices like Apple Silicon Mac's and such many devices.
Im aware of the fact that docker allows you to emulate amd64/x86 OS and, if fact I have it working decent on my m1 Mac, but since the last update of the container it won't let you install it with the command you provide, so the users have to perform some tricky steps in order to get it working.
Furthermore, natively running the container will save some battery and will keep the temperatures down.
Thanks in advance!!

Hello, I have a problem when trying to open an acestream:// link from [website] that directly open the stream in VLC.
Error Code 103 pops-up three times.
When I copy the link like this on the clipboard it works perfectly.
Thanks!
Hello,
Thanks for doing this container!!!
I was able to run your docker image using the second command you have on the readme (to use other viewers different than VLC). But when I try to run the script I get an error with a missing image name. It looks like the script is not able to get the image you wanted to use. Maybe you have it in your cache and that is why it is working for you?

Hi, I tried the two last versions of the app and it's working fine. But I have a problem with the memory swap than is in two hours like the network I/o 8gb. Its normal way ?
Thanks. Sorry for my English.
I recall that each new link was opened in the current instance of VLC in the previous versions of AceLink. I could have a list of the played streams and access them easily. Now it completely closes VLC and restarts it.
Have you improve Ace Link that doesn't require Docker as you said you would ? Love Ace Link. :)
How can I easily clean Acelink cache? I use VLC to reproduce videos, but can I somehow clear the cache Acelink makes? Also, I have no idea if Acelink makes any cache at all, and if it deletes it every time it's closed, but I want to make sure I can free up as many disk space as possible.
Thanks!
I was trying to use Ace Link a few days ago to view a stream and it seemed to load up the stream fine but I only got the initial frame (at the start of the very stream, not the present one in time). It remained that way indefinitely. No sound either.
Will be appreciated if you launch it.
Thanks
Hello, could you implement IINA/mpv support instead of VLC? Thanks!
Question
Hi,
I'm trying to reproduce a link generated by acelink in an application I'm developing but I can't get it to work.
I get the following error:
[VERBOSE-2:dart_vm_initializer.cc(41)] Unhandled Exception: PlatformException(VideoError, Failed to load video: Operation Stopped, null, null)
I have searched and they talk about what could be the server and in this link they comment on a solution:
flutter/flutter#56665 (comment)
Is this possible to work with acelink?
Thanks
Hello,
I noticed, that acestream cache in docker container is not deleted after restart. So I suggest a script to clean it. I think it should run together with the container.
#!/bin/bash
echo CACHE SIZE
du -h ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache
echo CHECKING live.* files
LIVE=$(ls -al ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache | grep live.*)
if [ -z "$LIVE" ]
then echo NOTHING TO CLEAN
else rm ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache/live.*
echo DONE
echo FOLDER SIZE AFTER CLEAN
du -h ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache
fi
echo CHECKING hls.* files
HLS=$(ls -al ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache | grep hls.*)
if [ -z "$HLS" ]
then echo NOTHING TO CLEAN
else rm ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache/hls.*
echo DONE
echo CACHE SIZE AFTER CLEAN
du -h ~/.ACEStream/.acestream_cache
fi
This error appears when trying to open a stream.
Image
"VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://127.0.0.1:6878/ace/getsream"

I've cleaned the Docker cache (I think) but nothing seems to solve it. It was working a while back (can't say when this started happening, unfortunately). Any hints on how to solve it?
Acelink is working fine on my mac and i can watch fine using IINA.
However when i try to play a network stream through VLC on my Apple Tv or iPad it does not start and displays an error, even though it sees streams name.
In VLC i'm entering http://(macbooknetworkip):6888/acelink.m3u8
any idea what am I doing wrong?
Please provide version for this that works for OSX for under 10.13.

I have my VLC in a subdirectory inside my applications folder, and Ace Link does not see it and therefore cannot run correctly. Would be nice to be able to browse for VLC if its not found in the main applications directory.
