Rainy (Garmin App)

A weather app i made because i wanted to make something "simple" for my watch (And Garmins weather app kinda sucks).
The app has more features, is more accurate and is prettier than Garmins weather app!

App supports most (CIQ 3.0+) watches and a few Edge devices.
Download on the Connect IQ store.

2.x Branch

This is the 2.x (App Version) version which is a "Device App" and has more available memory.
This branch has more features than 1.x but drops support for Instinct watches.

Contributing

  1. Follow Garmins SDK and VSCode Setup.
  2. Select SDK 7.1.1 and install all the neccesary watches in Garmins SDK Manager.
  3. Clone and Import the project into VSCode.
  4. Maybe it works?? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  5. Create a Pull Request.

Please remove all references to Yr trademark

As per the MET API TOS:

You are not allowed to make services/sites that appear to be made by Yr, NRK or The Norwegian Meteorological Institute. In other words, you may not use the word "Yr" as a part of your service name, or attach the Yr logo to your service.

Please rename your app and remove the Yr logo from the code and website.

Show the current weather type in the glance

The current glance view does not show the current weather conditions (sunny, cloudy etc.).. It would be nice if the glance could also show an icon for the current conditions?

Unfortunately Garmin does not allow the launcherIcon to be changed dynamically, but the next best thing would be to put an icon next to the temperature in the glance.

Black square in Glance

Hi, I'm using this app on my Vivoactive 5 and I noticed that there is a black square in the background of the glance. I tried to take a photo of it.
Also, is there a reason the Location is in all uppercase? It's just personal taste, I personally would like it better in lowercase.

Other than that, I really like your app!

Add complications

Hello! So good app for garmin. I love it. I think will be very useful if you can "publish/share" info from your app to wathfaces (complications).
