For a few weeks now the gas price number has not been showing in the top-right icon preview, instead just showing "...". This is what it looks like:

Browser: Brave v 1.31.88 Chromium 95
OS: MacOS Big Sur

Hi ! I was searching for an extension that gives me the gas price of etherchain like yours, i can't find any, and i would like if you could add etherchain to your extension !

It would be great to have the option to set which category the badge shows. I would like to be able to set the badge Fast instead of Normal for instance. This data is most important because it can be seen with no clicks while using an open Metamask window.

Bonus points for allowing a configurable offset, i.e. show Normal + 5 gwei, since relying on normal is often not enough while gas prices are rapidly rising.

Last night the extension stopped working for me. The gwei number just froze and wouldn't update. I have tried rebooting and uninstalling/reinstalling etc but it won't start working again. Now I have uninstalled and reinstalled instead of a number it is just displaying three dots like ...

I am using the extension on Google Chrome (automatic updates enabled)/Windows 7.

The below only concerns the extension as published on Firefox. The extension published on the Chrome Web Store (available on Chrome, Brave, and Chromium alternatives) works without issues.

The currently published version of this extension retrieves data from an API that is no longer online. A more recent version of this extension exists, but uses a modern format that Firefox has been planning to support for some time but doesn't support yet (see https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/when-will-it-be-possible-to-test-add-ons-under-manifest-3-using-firefox/91113/5). Until this format is supported by Firefox, the extension cannot be updated to the recent version that contains updated API endpoints. In other words, until Firefox supports manifest v3 (which should happen in early 2022?), this extension will unfortunately remain non-functional. Apologies about this situation.

Thank you for the great and yet minimalistic extension!

As feature request, I would like to add any preferred method to get notified when a certain value within a range:

• popup notification
• alert
• icon blinking
• any!

That would be handy to not manually check gas fees but automate it a little.
And with a privacy in mind (other extensions are not doing that)

The icon's displayed gas price disappears to black when the browser's theme is set to dark. When set to light, the numbers return as if the numbers are directly linked to the state of the browser's theme.

Observed on Brave version 1.39.111
Extension version 1.3.2

I have had this extension for a while, and then today the gas price is blacked out. it was never like that before. what's wrong

?
