Welcome to my GitHub page! Let's get started on knowing a little more about me first. I am (learning more to become) a solo game developer. I'm currently learning different skills like music creation, art designing, story designing, programming, audio design, etc. I use the Godot game engine and have developed a few different projects with it. Here's some examples. I've also started making Android apps as something new to keep me learning about new things.

More About Me

I have tons of hobbies and talents/tricks up my sleeve. For example, I've taught myself how to play some very basic piano, how to program, how to film, and more. I love some gaming in my spare time if i'm not coding. Speaking of which, I code all day, every day. I usually never back away from programming and get super immersed into it. And I've heard being a lazy programmer pays off, which is exactly what I am!

Recent News

Recently, I've joined the ArcOS team and we do some pretty neat stuff there! Check it out! I work there as a part of the core team. I work on some design, I work in ArcTerm, I design some things, I work on documentation, and I also help beta test for them.

I've also begun code golfing! I'll mainly use C++ for the holes but sometimes i'll try other languages like Python and Javascript.

Languages I Know

I know English, and some simple German and Spanish. But for programming, I know some Java, Python, C++, Kotlin, and GDScript. I understand how to write all of those but basic compared to anyone elses abilities.

[FEATURE] Color scheme

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not really. Just sounds like a cool feature and would help me stylize the OS to my liking.

Describe the solution you'd like
Inside settings, create an area to change the main color or multiple colors for changing things like windows.

[FEATURE] Window On Top Re-ordering

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I hate having to hide some windows when trying to get one buried deep under another.

Describe the solution you'd like
To click the window and have it show on top of all the other windows.

Click the open window's toolbar icon to show it above others.

[FEATURE] Window Tossing

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not really. Just sounded cool

A way to interract with windows by throwing them or tossing them around

The window buttons, but that's boring!

Additional context
Left and right throws close the window, throwing it up maximizes it, and throwing it down minimizes it.

I use the windows and hate having to resize them to fit on half of my screen.

Snapping windows to the left or right when you drag them there and hold them there.

Not really, just wanted a way to stylize the OS to my liking.

An option to change the background inside of settings.

I've wanted to download apps for the OS but without all the hassle of putting it in the apps folder

Some sort of app browser to let me download available apps for the OS

A tool to move my apps I've downloaded into the apps folder by selecting them.

The OS is great, but I'd like a settings menu for a list of all the options or bits of info I can change and view.

[BUG] Window snapping changes window size after unsnapping

Describe the bug
When dragging the window out of snap, it stays the same size of the snap from before.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open new window
  2. Snap it
  3. Quickly drag window out to snap area again
  4. See error

Expected behavior
Returns the window to normal size again.

you should totally add the ability to delete the operating system that would be funny

App not showing correct icon on apps screen.

Describe the bug
When adding a new app to the apps folder, it gives me the wrong icon and doesn't make the correct button for the new app

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add new app
  2. Click on Reload Apps
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Adds the new app to the apps screen and opens the new app

[BUG] Window Maximizing doesn't work on resized screens

Describe the bug
The window becomes really big on the x axis.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open a new app window
  2. Click maximize button.
  3. See error

Expected behavior
The window resizes to the screen properly.

[FEATURE] Update Checker

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When using the OS, I want the latest version possible so I can access to the latest features. It gets annoying having to search for a new update often.

Describe the solution you'd like
Possibly an app or built in feature for settings that can check updates for the system and help me download them.

[BUG] Can't open 2 same apps at once.

Can't open 2 app instances at the same time. It gives me a white screen on the new one and breaks other stuff.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open an app
  2. Open the same app again
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Open another window of the app

[BUG] Extracting from a pck file isn't fully working

Describe the bug
When using the debug tools, it gives me part of the files

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click Extract PCK FIles
  2. Check extracted files
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Extracts all files inside the pck file.

Apps need 2 reloads to show

The apps need 2 reloads to show on the home screen again properly.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Start Menu
  2. Click Reload Apps
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Reloads apps and doesn't make them dissapear
