right now it's just a CombinedSpec with a "dustmass" attribute, but it's not used in the normalization anywhere.

some assays produce numbers like 1 +/- 5. It would be convenient to enter the number as provided by the assay but treat as an upper limit if e.g. the uncertainty is greater than the measurement (or maybe consistent with 0 at 2-sigma, etc.)

In BGE V2, there was a problem where you would attempt to set the distribution for a radon exposure emission and it would always revert back to having a "surface" distribution. I found that if you commented out this line, then the initialization would not override what is entered in the webpage.
