Create components for in-memory and stored data structures

• Determine system of record for product data
• Allow alteration to base data storage?
• Allow output as component to middleware
• Allow access to listener layer?

Security should be evaluated at every endpoint that consumes data.

Need to determine:

• How to determine acceptable ingress/egress?
• Granular permission structure for users and automated access
• Require deliberate override for insecure usage
• Lots of other stuff

Create middleware patterns with the following:

• Invoke on demand?
• Stateful?
• Service discovery
• One/many inputs
• One/many outputs
• Recursive with tracking
• Auditable
• Tests

Determine initial code patterns to allow for modular expansion of the product.

Implment MLLP for inbound and outbound. Simple logic for ACK/NACK.

Create basic de-serializer patterns. Should implement:

• Determine HL7 version
• Determine HL7 message type
• Consume segments into generic containers
• Handle fields, repeats, components and sub-components
• output to flat file
