User Guide and How To Use the Proxy Requester

The Proxy Requester is a Python script that allows users to make HTTP requests through a proxy server. This script has a graphical user interface (GUI) that makes it easy to input the desired URL and proxy server, check the status of the proxy server, and view the response from the requested URL.

How to Use

  1. Download the script and ensure that Python is installed on your system.

  3. Run the script.
  4. The GUI will appear, allowing you to input the URL you want to request and the proxy server to use.
  5. Click the "Check Proxy" button to test the proxy server's connection.
  6. If the proxy server is working, the "Check Proxy" button will turn green. If the proxy server is not working, the "Check Proxy" button will turn red.
  7. Click the "Send Request" button to make the request through the proxy server and view the response in a new window.
  8. If you want to change the proxy server or URL, simply enter the new values in the input fields and click the appropriate button.
  9. If you want to access a list of proxy servers, click the "Proxies" button to open the "https://hidemy.name/en/proxy-list/?type=s&anon=4#list" URL in your default web browser.

GUI Components

URL Input Field

This input field is where you enter the URL you want to request.

HTTP Proxy Input Field

This input field is where you enter the HTTP proxy server you want to use.

HTTPS Proxy Input Field

This input field is where you enter the HTTPS proxy server you want to use.

Check Proxy Button

This button checks the connection of the proxy server. If the proxy server is working, the button turns green. If the proxy server is not working, the button turns red.

Send Request Button

This button sends the request through the proxy server and displays the response in a new window.

Proxies Button

This button opens the "https://hidemy.name/en/proxy-list/?type=s&anon=4#list" URL in your default web browser.

Response Text Box

This text box displays the response from the requested URL or any error messages that occur during the request process.
