Sometimes it is required that after we extract data from the html/xml, we still need to do some raw data processing.

To tackle this problem, I am thinking of adding script support as follows:

in the template:

<root>
  <s select="blabla" get="text" post="post_process"/>

  <script type="python">
  def post_process(s):
      return "new string: " + s
  </script>
</root>

An alternative way is to import like standard html:

<script type="python" src="relative_path_to_tpl.py"/>
