Render song information on HUD

  • Subscribe to the RenderGameOverlayEvent.Text event in the client-side event handler class.
  • Get the currently playing song from the Spotify API class.
  • Use Minecraft's rendering methods to display the song information on the screen.
  • Handle exceptions and errors gracefully.

Register client-side event handler

  • Create a new class for client-side events in the mod package.
  • Annotate the class with @EventBusSubscriber, specifying bus = EventBusSubscriber.Bus.FORGE and value = Dist.CLIENT.

Integrate Spotify API

  • Register the mod as an application on the Spotify Developer Dashboard.
  • Obtain the Client ID and Client Secret.
  • Add a Java library for the Spotify Web API (e.g., "spotify-web-api-java") to the project.
  • Create a class to handle communication with the Spotify API.
