The first version of this flow is UI/UX-wise not really polished and could use improving:

• The email input isn't spam-proof. It could be abused to filter out the existing accounts.
• Page design as a whole could be improved.
• Performance could be tweaked a bit. The use of extra handlers & listeners was preferred to improve readability (and the fact I'm a novice regarding React also contributes I guess).

I've implemented my own version of an authentication check but I'm not sure this is the best way. Will check for other resources (regarding Next.js/Firebase combo) if there are other methods or ways to do this.
