sql-scratch-capstone-turn-in's Issues

Feedback

Thanks for your submission.

  1. State A Clear Objective: On your first "Get Familiar With CoolTShirts" slide, I recommend giving a brief introduction to who CoolTShirts is and what their objective is. This will help your readers better contextualize the information that you're presenting and stay on the same page as you throughout.

  2. Though you explain what the campaigns and sources are, it's important that you also describe their relationship for your reader. Similarly, the significance of the landing pages is not communicated.

  3. Narrative And Support Not Methods: My primary critique of your presentation is that it speaks too much about what you did to get a result rather than why it's important or why the reader should care. This is not all bad but it is not enough. Your slides should communicate a narrative and provide support. Slide 2.4 and 3.1 are better examples of this.

  4. Query Overkill: Since you provide a .sql file along with your presentation, I can read over this file to verify that your queries correctly retrieve the tables you present. You don't need to present a query for every table and explain how you set up each query. This is mostly noise. I would recommend presenting a query only if it is absolutely necessary.
