Hi,

I get an error when trying to mine using neoscrypt. I have 3 RX580 AMD card

Error in hsa_operand section, at offset 3332:
Address offset exceeds variable size
LLVM ERROR: tartup GPU initialization... Using settings from pool eu.bsod.pw.
Brig container validation has failed in BRIGAsmPrinter.cpp

The gpus are not overheating nor are they really stressed as I've underclocked them to 1200 mghz. Temps never exceed 75 and rarely go above 70 tbh. I have a Ryzen 1700x with 16 gigs of ram running around 550 watts max pulled for the entire system verified by a wattman...so I think that my 750 watt supply is enough. I'm setting the system up for remote access so I can restart the miner when I'm away but I just wanted to see if you can find a more permanent solution. This miner is awesome and I want to continue to use it.

first time when i open the website (eu.ravenminer.com / ravenminer.com) it is working
after sometime miner shows error (Rejected untracked stratum share from eu.ravenminer.com) & website also not working, browser shows error (This site can’t be reached ravenminer.com unexpectedly closed the connection.)

so anybody knows the why this happens?

I think you forgot to commit the header and the src file for xevan.

I can compile the project for macOS but when running it I get

Just installed new today. Running a Gigabyte vega 56 oc gaming edition. Soft power play stable on monero 1900 h/s. I tried your miner to run x16r and all I get it hard hang.

but getting only 340-370 khs on amd rx570/580 (nvidia make 11+ mhs)

Does this miner support solo mining like Nevermore-miner?

libcurl3 is not available and on your code still using ibcurl3

I am using your newest miner and cannot seam to get my cards to hash correct rates...I am useing 20gigs virtual memory......intensity 21, all 3 cards, the vega gets around 900khs the 550 gets same and the 560 shows like 5-6mhs ive tried many setting and installed blockchain drivers can anyone please assist me with this.

I'm noticing a couple issues, one I believe may be a hardware problem on my end, but I haven't confirmed by switching slots.

1. First issue I noticed upon using avermore was that my second 570, GPU 1 wouldn't initialize to hash and would eventually be marked sick. This might just be my card, but it is working fine with other algos/miners, just not avermore/other sgminer derived x16r miners.

• (I have been running my config with the second GPU disabled, but it still appears in GPU management.)

2. The second issue is that under load, while in GPU management view*, GPU 0 is hashing and reporting a static 25C and 40% fan speed, while GPU 1 isn't hashing yet has the a higher temp/fan speed, depending on xintensity.
   I'll give the cards a switch when I can, and I'll get back on if it solves this. If not, I'd love to give the code base a crawl and throw my hand at finding a fix.

After running the miner for alomst 11 hours , I have noticed randomly GPU gets into OFF state. Attaching the log file for your reference.

I have a rig with Nvidia 1080ti and Amd RX 580 cards using Hive OS. When I try to start the avermore-miner for Amd cards, it reportes that "All devices disables, cannot mine". Also "gpu-platform 2" command cannot help me.

Update: after upgrading the miner to v1.4.1 new error has appeared: "No login credentials supplied for stratum.ravecoin.world"

I'm getting the error that indicates that I can't load libncurses.so.5. However, your troubleshooting instructions say to run:
sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev libncurses5
to resolve this error.
I am running Fedora, which does not use apt-get as the package manager.
I installed ncurses via:
dnf install ncurses-devel
However, I'm still getting the same error.
How do I get the avermore miner working on my Fedora system?

Hi, I'm trying to mine on a 6990 gpu with windows 8.1, Catalyst 14.4 drivers (yes, quite old, but I've heard that the newer drivers are actually worse for mining) with the default config file (set to donate :)). I also tried reducing the intensity to 64. Here's a screenshot of the error I'm getting:

Just downloaded, added exception to Windows Defender. Edited the start batch file. Immediately crashes after launching. Log attached, the file doesn't include anything that stands out.

I have 2xRX580's and 1xVega Frontier Edition and 1xNvidia GTX 1080 (to be excluded).

I was using this previously and recently had to remove and reinstall my Nvidia GTX 1080, which was not causing any problems before. But now, ever since I re-installed the Nvidia card, even though I'm specifying --gpu-platform 1, it still detects the Nvidia card. It didn't do that before and my understanding is that it should ignore the Nvidia card with this setting.

I also tried -d 0,1,2 as well as various permutations like:
-d 0,1
-d 0
-d 1
-d 2

None of those helped.

I haven't tried removing the 1080, but that's my next step. Though, I really don't want to do that because I'm using it for mining other things and this hasn't been a problem except with sgminer. For example, with this same exact hardware configuration I am able to use Cast_XMR (AMD cards only) and ccminer for the 1080. I am also able to use Nicehash (excavator) running cryptonightv7 on just the AMD cards and a separate instance of Nicehash running lyra2v2 on just the 1080. But I wanted to get back to mining PGN again, which was working previously but now it's not anymore.

Windows 7 and Windows 10 , no idea why , but when i start this variant of SGMiner it doesnt even start it goes back to the prompt.

What can i do to give you detailed logging? or verbosity of the warning/errors messages?

I have a few pools that I rotate between and set the rotate to be 5 minutes, the dev pool is mining for 1 minute at the end of the rotation even if I only have 2 pools so every 10 minutes the dev pool is mining for 1 minute in this case. I don't mind supporting the devs, but 10% seems a bit steep for me. :) I am using windows 10.

This is the string in my .bat to launch the miner.

sgminer -o stratum+tcp://pool.bsod.pw:2640 -u WALLET -p password

I tried with another miner to rule out network issues. It worked fine.
