This makes for a big download and time-consuming install.
I would suggest putting the bl-default/ images in a bunsen-images-default package and the others in bunsen-images-full. The "default" package can be a hard dependency of "full", so users just have to install one or the other.
Does that make sense?
There is/are no license(s) provided for bunsen-images content.

At least one of our wallpaper images has been reported to show banding on some displays: BunsenLabs/bunsen-configs#75 (comment)
This might be because they are too small for modern display sizes, or because they need to be recreated with full 32 bit colour/monochrome range.
(For future reference.)

Would it be at all possible to make some kind of bunsen-images-old, which contained all the old wallpapers, some of which were absolute bangers. New ones are ok, but I would personally prefer some of the older options since they offer the dark-blueish vibe that is missing currently.
Would be cool if installing this was an option in the first setup dialogue
Debian specification asks for png for wallpapers, but most of the ones we have been liking have gradients plus noise texture, which sends the file size way up (in the region of 2-3MB for the bigger sizes)
The latest lot that I have uploaded here are jpg. Because they are wallpaper collections, with a variety of sizes, then resizing shouldn't be needed, so jpgs are fine IMO.
