powerbash's Issues

Need for Comprehensive User Documentation

The inclusion of comprehensive documentation could greatly enhance user understanding of this repository.
This would provide clarity on the purpose of the repository, and offer guidance for those interested in installation and contributing to the project.

Detailed, user-friendly documentation can improve accessibility and invite collaboration.

Prevent to run scripts on `postgres` database

In some cases, if you don't define the database on which you wish to run a script, it runs by default on postgres database.
This is bad!

So...
Prevent to run scripts on postgres database, like:

  • odooMakeDev & co.

This issue is related with Issue #5.

Implement a `--dry` run for some commands

Implement a --dry run for some commands, like:

  • removeDockerImages & co.
  • removeStoppedContainers

Consider making the --dry run option the standard behaviour for these commands and add a new --commit parameter to run as it should.
This will prevent accidental deletion.

Add some default values

If you run some of these scripts or functions inside environments without some specific environmental variables already set, they'll run with some unexpected results.

Add some default values for these environmental variables, like:

  • $PGUSER
