This plugin works fine for me when install from a play store link opened on the device.

I was wondering if it supposed to work when installing from the web (desktop) version. It doesn't seem to work right now.
When in the play store on a browser on a PC, you can install on any of the devices you have configured. When doing that, I would expect that the referrer info is passed on to the device, but I can't find on any documentation if this is the case or not.
Do you have any info on that ?

I tried to implement this and live to the play store, but it always return this "utm_source=google-play&utm_medium=organic", if we pass any extra argument, it will return the following "utm_source=(not%20set)&utm_medium=(not%20set)".
Kindly remove, if it is not working. Not working for me. if you have any solution, please give.

I have noticed that npm version and plugin.xml version are different

This is only a very minor issue and doesn't break anything.
Only noticed as it was flagged up by this plugin update tool:

$ npm install -g cordova-check-plugins
$ cordova-check-plugins --update=auto

I tried the following command in "adb shell"

am broadcast -a com.android.vending.INSTALL_REFERRER
-n computer.shortcut.keys.app/com.github.byorty
--es "referrer" "utm_source=google-play&utm_medium=organic"

but this is not working.
