Hey this is Cory Dominguez, here is my version of the grid image search. Note use of Jackson json library for parsing, (pretty slick implementation and should be faster than the one demoed.) Also I hacked out some state saving between the settings view and the grid view and back again. I realized later that there is a more standard way of doing this than passing around intents. Depending on whether this gets covered in the next assignment I might refactor this project as an exercise.

Some issues that I didn't have time to resolve:
App doesn't do a very good job of vetting the site search EditText.

I also saw some laggyness during the image load, not sure if this is an emulator problem or some mistake in my code.

Occasionally I am running into long pauses (no crashing) and the debugger lists:

InputDispatcher: Dropped event because input dispatch is disabled

I was not able to determine the source of these problems, they seem sporadic and tend to not happen after the emulator has been running for a little while.

User Stories:

• User can enter a search query that will display a grid of images from Google Images.
• User can modify advanced search options such as:
• Size (small, medium, large, extra-large)
• Color filter (black, blue, brown, gray, green, etc...)
• Type (faces, photo, clip art, line art)
• Site (espn.com)
• Search options are saved and persisted.
• Subsequent searches will have these filters applied to the results
• User should be able to load more images by paginating with a button to "Load More"
• User can instead scroll “infinitely” to load more image results
