Chen Bin'configuration using evil ,not classic

Besides ,Bozhidar Batsov'configuration using emacs key bindings, but it also has evil-module and other modules, you should enable them by yourself,it is easy to modify his configuration by yourself.

Email Config?

Nice list. Would be nice to have a column that indicates whether an Emacs-based email config is part of the config. I am bouncing between Wanderlust and mu4e and always looking for config tips. Regards.

Question regarding adding new configurations

Hi,

at the bottom of the README.org file you mention the following:

Feel free to open a pull request. Please don’t add your personal config file. I won’t accept it unless it is vetted by other community members.

and I've seen you say something along these lines many times in the pull requests. Yet it seems a bit arbitrary to me (and to others). Certain personal configurations do get accepted, like #28, while others just get rejected without any understandable explanation (#1, #2, #5, #7, ...). Just referring to the quote above, just let's people hope that they might get accepted.

Wouldn't it be better to set up some criteria, or minimum requirements to get added to the list? Or maybe one must highlight something original and/or noteworthy to get accepted, be it their configuration or not. I believe that this would not only increase the quality of the list, but also make it easier to maintain, since people would know when it makes sense to suggest their configuration. Maybe one could even go beyond the table-format and create a properly structured org file with code snippets, images and what-not.

I hope there can be a conversation about this :)

Radian

@caisah , this emacs.d dotfile repo should really be added: https://github.com/raxod502/radian

@raxod502, I think you could characterize and describe your repo the best.

I previously went in an did a PR to signify that @PythonNut 's repo uses straight. Just making sure that straight.el get's represented in this list, like package.el, el-get, quelpa, and other package package managers.

Perhaps organize the list by features or config type.

Thanks for putting this together it's going to be a great resource! I think it would be more useful if each entry in the list contained a blurb about why it's on the list or what kind of config it is.

A simple starting point would be organizing the list by type, org-based, use-package, el-get, totally custom, starter-kit-esque etc.
