Either the site needs to move under the vanilla framework organisation or the link must change.

Accessibility guidelines should be added to a top level page within the docs site.

I know there is a plan to change the IA but currently if you click getting started you'll go to nothing at all. Would it be wise to link from each page to the home page with #getting-started in the URL

We need to fix the subscription to the mailing list form.

Title: Extendable
Text: Vanilla is designed to be extended directly or by extension themes. There are key themes for different types of sites, or you can create your own theme that perfectly suits your project.

The pictogram still reflects the way Vanilla works, with components that can be assembled as needed. But the title and the text refer to themes, which will soon be deprecated - so the copy needs to be updated.

The documentation builder does not allow for bespoke header inclusions. Therefore the script needs to be added to each doc page.

The current development workflow requires installing global dependencies which often fail. This is less than ideal. I've not managed to get the site running and I don't think that debugging dependency issues to work on a PR helps us.

Can we please bring the project more in line with our single-dependency run solutions on other sites (the "./run" script would be ideal)?

Could we have this favicon on the current site, which is now redirecting to docs?

• The return to our website link after clicking subscribe should link to vanillaframework.io instead of canonical.com - reference
• It would be good if the form was changed after pressing subscribe, whether via the return to website link in the confirmation screen, or by returning to the already open tab - at least clearing the email from the input field would be good

The favicon is not linked in the header. Therefore, only the homepage has a discoverable favicon. All pages should have a relative link to the favicon in the head.

Could we move the text in the Get started row, so it looks like this?

I placed the text in a col-5 and the code in a col-7 with prefix-1 - not sure if that's the most correct code. There should also be a link below the paragraph to the get started docs page - "Advanced instructions >"

The site is missing a 404 page.

The report a but on this site link in the footer is pointing to https://github.com/vanilla-framework/vanillaframework.io/issues/new instead of https://github.com/canonical-websites/vanillaframework.io/issues/new.

There are some comments which haven't yet been addressed in the Get started copy doc, that I can't finalise myself. We need this completed asap.

@anthonydillon @nottrobin @barrymcgee could you please have a look at the doc and agree on anything that is still outstanding when you have some time?

Summary

Remove 'Getting started' from global navigation. To fit inline with updates in issue #61 this link will be redundant as we already have 'Docs' in the global navigation.
