I managed to install caprover on windows server. If anyone else is having trouble with this, here are some steps you could follow:

You can run docker in cmd as well. To check if docker is installed, enter this command in cmd:
docker -v -
Open the advanced settings of windows firewall and add tcp and udp inbound rules for the following ports:
80,443,3000,996,7946,4789,2377 -
Run the installation command, but make sure to include the
MAIN_NODE_IP_ADDRESSoption:
docker run -p 80:80 -p 443:443 -p 3000:3000 -e ACCEPTED_TERMS=true -e MAIN_NODE_IP_ADDRESS=127.0.0.1 -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock -v /captain:/captain caprover/caprover
from caprover.
