the proxy setting in package.json is specifically designed to work in a development environment for a React application created with Create React App. It is intended to redirect API calls made from the client side to a specified server during development, to avoid CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) issues. This proxy setting does not apply once the app is built and deployed because, in production, the proxy needs to be configured at the server

Frontend app runs in your browser, not the server, your browser doesn't have access to srv-captain--oneappname
