trainer-training's Issues

Incorrect page numbers in syllabus/schedule

The page numbers listed in the syllabus do not always correspond with the reading titles listed in the same row. For example, I believe this line should be fixed to move pages 10-39 into the second row. And so on with some of the other rows. I'll submit a PR to that effect.

populate schedule

The schedule needs to be populated with information about the assigned readings.

syllabus updates

Some changes can be implemented now, but there will be others that need to be done when the handbook and website updates are complete. Leaving this issue here for both. Updates include:

  • Trainer Agreement -> status renewal
  • Add Trainers repo to preview list for Week 1
  • Find home for new Trainers handbook content as available

Trainer personas

Is it worthwhile creating learner personas for people who undertake trainer training? Could this help guide future tweaks and improvements to the trainer curriculum? Could this assist the Trainer Leadership Committee in their decisions?

flesh out content

It would be great if this content was more stand-along (i.e. could be led by someone who hadn't authored the content). These discussion questions are assumedly leading to specific conversations or at least are meant to bring up specific key take away points that are important for new Trainers to know. We should add narrative text to the lesson to bring those messages out explicitly.
