github-activity's Issues

Scrollbar issue, OSX Firefox

Hello!

I'm not a super CSS wizard, but I noticed on Firefox, OS X, the scrollbar starts half way hidden. Any fix for this? Purely visual, it functions perfectly!

Thanks for the plugin!

Stefan

scrollbar placement

It would be great if it were somehow possible to have the scrollbar inside of the widget instead of being what appears to be the iframe scrollbar along the entire length of the widget.

Only see commits

Looking for a way to only see commits(username/repo), as it currently is, lots of stuff going on and want more control of the output.

Activity Stream link

I noticed that the link at the bottom of the widget is hard-coded to link to your activity. I'm not sure if that was intentional but I think it would be much more useful to link to the user's activity stream (whatever the second parameter passed in is.)

I forked the project and attempted to change it myself so that I could do a pull request but couldn't seem to change that in the code.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

github-acitivity does on work using GitHub repository webhosting directly

Hello community,

I am quite a newbie, therefore I ask for your patience. I am trying to publish my personal website, hosted by github and integrating the GitHub Activity Stream Widget. The widget works well, when I open the index.html as local file in my browser. However, the widget is missing (not even an error) when I push the files to github and use the GitHub repository webhosting directly and then open it as website. Do you have any suggestions why it does not work and what I can do about it?
Html files etc are available here: https://github.com/philippschw/philippschw.github.io

Edit: Note, I run into the same issue using heroku webhosting.

Unable to fetch any actitvites

Hi,
I just integrated the library on my webpage but I am unable to fetch anything. I am receiving the following errors,

  1. User Abhishekds94 wasn't found.
  2. Events for user Abhishekds94 not found.

Even on the demo link that you have provided, this is what I am receiving for all the github users.

Show feed for a repository or organization

Hi there,

Would it also be possible to not show the activity of a single users, but of all users in a repository or organization?

That would be very cool to display on pages of open source projects, I feel.

Thanks for considering!

Events for when unauthenticated requests reach the limit

Hi,

I'm coming from this closed issue #8 because I'm having this issue as well.
I need to handle when the unauthenticated requests reach the limit.

I noticed that the GitHubActivity.feed({ username: "my-username", selector: ".selector" }); doesn't return a callback of any kind.

Can this be implemented?
Thanks

Can't find variable GithubActivity

I am newbie to JS, I followed instructions in the readme file. But i wasn't able to get the activity feed. I attached my html file in which i also included javascript just for testing.
index.html.zip

Thanks :)
