Follow these instructions to set up the bot on your Discord server.
In order to use the bot, you'll need the following tools:
- python 3.8 or later (check your version with
python --version
) - poetry (install with
pip3 install poetry
or by using the official installer.
- Create a new Discord application on the Discord Developer Portal and set the required permissions for the bot.
- Grab the secret token for the bot from the "Bot" tab of your Discord application.
- Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/ProgrammingPhilippines/progphil-bot
- Install the dependencies
cd progphil-bot
poetry install

- Fork the repository.
- Create your feature branch.
- Commit your changes
