An MWSE Lua Mod that moves NPCs to their homes or public houses at night and in bad weather. A no longer lightweight fork of Lightweight Lua Scheduling.
To reproduce:
Go to Seyda Neen (other city probably works too), wait until night, and then save the game. Exit the game completely, restart it, and attempt to load that save file. It should crash to desktop.
I have not looked into the code at all, but I have a vague memory of the same thing happening to me when I attempted to store some non-JSONable stuff in player.data, so that may be the problem.
Love the mod but I have two issues with it, some npcs vanish during weather when I specified them not to do so in the morrowind mod config through mwse. For example, barbarians, rogues, thieves, slaves (and a few other classes) are ones I want to stay outdoors during the rain; makes sense for their roles, barbarians up until thieves should be okay with rain, as would smugglers, slaves have no choice. This is not noticed ingame however. Likewise, I have disabled argonians and nords as races so they should not go inside during the rain, but they do, they vanish. I am also unable to find homeless npcs in the taverns, tradehouses etc during the night. The tradehouse in Vos has a locked entrance, but you can open it from inside (this might be a mod conflict though)
