Hi, i'm trying to solve a issue with my OC build for Dell G5 5590, my laptop freeze when I plug power adapter. I used your EFI folder and the problem went away, I think I have to patch my SSDTs. Can you please tell me witch tool you used to patch your SSDTs? There's a lot of stuff going on on your ACPI folder besides standard OpenCore stuff. Did you generate all of them?

Right now I have necessary files (PLUG, EC, USBX, XOSI, AWAC...) and disable dGPU. The rest you did dumping your DSDT/SSDT and patching with MacIASL? Did you get any of them in some repository I can look at?

Oh, one more thing: is there any special reason you chose FakeSMC instead of VirtualSMC? I'm asking cause OpenCore guides tell us to use VirtualSMC instead.

Sorry for opening an issue again. I used bigsur branch without any modification, except for removing DW1820A on config file but I got stuck while booting into installer.

The below screenshot is the screen where to booting stops with unmodified EFI.

So I disabled kexts and ACPI patches regarding Thunderbolt (TB3.aml, IoElectrify.kext)on config.plist, but still got stuck as below.

After that, I disabled VoodooPS2 and VoodooI2C on config.plist but the installer still stopped on “virtual bool CoreAnalyticsHub::start(IOService *)::105:CoreAnalyticsHub start”

I guess something related to CoreAnalyticsHub is making the issue, but I could not find the solution.

Can I use this EFI file as it is or should I get some re-configuration again?
I use Dell G3 3579 with Intel Core i5 8300H

你好，我的配置跟您的一模一样，我现在在自己弄oc，可是我的type-c驱动不起来，我看到你的驱动成功了，所以想请教一下您，除了添加IOElectrify.kext，USBInjectAll.kext，SSDT-TB3.aml，SSDT-TB3.dsl这4个文件进oc里，还需要有什么额外的操作吗？（我现在已经添加了这4个进去并修改了内核信息，但是仍然驱动不了）

1.直接用oc文件夹替换clover文件夹
2.是否需要有其他修改
3.有没有完整的EFI文件夹
用1方法操作后无法启动，开机显示几行代码后，自动重启进入windows系统了

我从你的config.plist中发现这两个关于CFG锁的选项都关闭了，是不是需要用你的grub来解锁CFG后再装macOS big sur？

Hello, I installed bigsur branch Opencore bootloader onto my ssd's EFI system partition. However, I can't get into the installer because of some error. I did not modify any of the provided files, and my laptop spec is the same as the readme.md except for the WiFi (DW1560 instead of DW1820A) and SSD (Samsung 970 EVO).

Below image is the log when I tried to boot Big Sur beta installer.

Hey, how do you set the keys to adjust the screen brightness on a laptop keyboard ?? Right now it's fn + f12 and fn + key pause. My bootloader is opencore. In my laptop acer v3-371, the shortcut from adjusting the screen brightness on the keyboard is the shortcut fn + left arrow key and fn + arrow right key.
