@mistergone and I will be working on getting a short template of suggested questions to ask, and how to structure the audience research. I think we agreed to get that around by September 11 (or close to that date).
from agile-playbook.
Plan:
- 10-15 minute conversation
- Answerer should be talking for at least 66% of the conversation time.
The questions to ask:
- What do you know or feel about Agile software development?
- I'm a ScrumMaster at the CFPB, which is a federal agency that uses Agile software design and development. We feel like we use it successfully. What would you like to know about the Agile process at the CFPB?
Basically, first we get a sense of their exposure or sentiment about Agile in general. Then we get a sense of any specific questions or concerns they might be experiencing. We're looking for their pain points.
Follow up responses that can be used to gather more information. Repeat these questions and statements as necessary during the conversation:
- "Tell me more about that." (To get general information about something)
- "Why is that interesting to you?" (To get at the core of why something is important)
- "And then what happens?" (To see what people are envisioning as the result of something they said)
