Hi

Sorry to ask here, but I feel like a moron. I can't get rtsp_proxy.py to run.

I can get svtool.py to connect after changing line 78 to send unencoded username/pass

But now I have no idea how to call rtsp_proxy.py

I keep getting
socket.error: [Errno 10049] The requested address is not valid in its context

Can someone please give me an example command on how to call rtsp_proxy.py properly? I've been trying for like an hour and no joy

But the problem now is that the video stream is very poor unlike the WEB version or the Samsung program.
Do you have any idea how to solve it?

I'm trying to use your script for my SHR 2082.
IP : 192.168.0.130. TCP configuration (not UDP)

Can you please provide a sample call for the script ?
I tried several commands but always get main_.AuthenticationError: WRONG_ID.

Try to connect to my SHR-5042 DVR using Python 2.7
I run the scripts on the command line like: svtool.py --username test --password test url RTSP://IP off DVR:PORT of DVR
I keep getting an error like: url {describe,authorize}
Please give an example how to give the right arguments.
