Hi,

I was looking for guidance as to how could we update the content in the handbook. I understand that there could be two methods:

1. Update the content of this repository
2. Update the content directly through GitBook.

Do we have a guide for how a new user can propose changes and what should be the preferred way of doing so?

I merged this draft and then received an error message (screenshot below)

@jaskiratsingh2000, would you know how to restore the sync between GitBook and GitHub?

Can someone point me to the working group repository template, that was shown in the last Community call.
Couldn't find it in the community-handbook...

Some content in the outreachy.md file are not up-to date.SO changes should be made! they are correct for the 2021 December cohort

Some files have names like "untitled-1.md"

It would be great to give each file a meaningful name so I can find the page I want to edit without having to try several different files.

Maybe it would even fix the URLs in GitBook, like https://handbook.chaoss.community/community-handbook/community-initiatives/untitled-1

How can we change the file names and URLS without disrupting the integration between GitHub and GitBook and breaking links within the handbook?

@jaskiratsingh2000 , would it be possible to move the files of the handbook to the governance repository?

The GitBook docs say that we could specify a sub-folder within a repo to store the synced markdown files.

Why???

• Because we were thinking about reducing redundancies.

Is this a good idea to do???

In the handbook's Roadmap page under metric releases (https://handbook.chaoss.community/community-handbook/about/roadmap#metric-releases) there is a link on the text "Check out the metric release" that leads to https://github.com/chaoss/community/blob/master/community-handbook/metrics-release.md which is not found.

Is this supposed to lead to chaoss-metric-release.md, releases.md, the release history page on the Chaoss website (https://chaoss.community/release-history/), or something else?

If so, I can help fix it with a PR.

The repository has two chaosscon.md files:

The Handbook Page seems to match file # 2.

Can we safely delete file # 1?

@jaskiratsingh2000 👋 Hi! We created a new section for Newcomers, and added a new file, but it's not showing up on the Handbook page here: https://handbook.chaoss.community. We added it to the README and it shows up in the SUMMARY.md, but it isn't anywhere else. What are the steps to add new content to the Handbook? What did I miss?

The hyperlink repository directs back itself to the community-handbook repo. The sentence itself is self-explanatory and thus hyperlink serves no purpose. We should remove it?
